However, this time around it’s more accurately poised as we are what we drink. - Purified water: This one is easily at the top of the list. You are supposed to drink your body weight – in ounces – of water daily. This allows for your body to stay hydrated and function properly. It serves to moisturize your skin, hair, nails and cells. So drink up, and know that you are taking care of you!
- Antioxidant-rich teas: We all know that there are some pretty tasty and delectable teas out there that provide a rich source of antioxidants. These antioxidants are free-radical scavengers, and we know that free-radicals contribute to aging in the skin. However, they also prevent aging in the follicles of your hair, too!
- Juicy juices are always tasty, real fruit smoothies are great for your hair as well. Just don’t overdo it on the smoothies, as they can have high calorie counts. Vegetables and fruits contain many vitamins and minerals that are great for your hair’s health. So if you can’t eat it daily, then drink it up!
